Nowadays, with the increasing popularity of online shopping, a good marketing strategy is essential to enable sellers to compete. Within these marketing activities, professional photography is on the rise, which is why I am particularly interested in Amazon’s ‘Fulfilled by Amazon’ or ‘FBA’ platform.
Ideal for start-ups or those who are just beginning to discover the world of E-commerce, the FBA platform provides the perfect opportunity to market and sell goods online. The principle is quite simple – Amazon will do the hard work for you by shipping the product to the customer directly and even dealing with product returns. As a seller, all you have to do is source your chosen product from the manufacturer and ship it to a dedicated fulfilment centre along with appropriate marketing material, such as product images.
This is where I come in. With online retailers becoming increasingly competitive, as a photographer I understand the importance of razor-sharp images to help you outshine your competitors. With my experience in commercial photography I have worked with the smallest and most delicate of products, helping to capture their product value and their unique selling point to the customer. My previous photo shoots have covered everything from sports gear to baby wear, which was particularly challenging as the garments had to be photographed in situ on some very demanding models!
