Mobile Photo Studio | Event Photographer

Mobile Photo Studio | Event Photographer

A few months ago I’ve invested in a mobile photo studio. It’s a backlit white canvas big enough for groups of up to seven people. I use this mobile photo studio mostly for event photography such as charity events, ball parties or corporate events. The setup is about 3.5 metres wide and almost three metres high. In order to create a pure white background I need to use strong flashes pointed at the backdrop (or from behind the material). In order to avoid this much light spilling from the backdrop onto the subject (the people in front of it) I need to create a bit of distance (at least one metre) between these two.

I have set up this mobile photo studio at hotels, congress centres and private houses. It fits in a couple of bags and is easy to transport. Setup and calibration shots take about 45min. Once this mobile photo studio is up and running the actual shots can be done very quickly. It’s possible to shoot a new group or couple every two minutes.

I have a lot of experience now advising my clients on how to pose naturally. I have a large repertoire of poses for individuals, couples and also larger groups.

The photos can be printed instantly. They are transferred from my camera to my computer via a fast USB 3.0 connection. My customers can choose the best shots on screen and purchase professional prints just a minute later. I use a professional portable photo printer as part of my mobile photo studio.

I offer this mobile photo studio service as a pay-per-photo or whole-event option. It is also possible to overlay graphics and text on each photo such as the name of the event or the logo of the sponsor. Please get in touch for more information.
