Since 2015, I’ve been scripting, directing, filming, and editing films about brands, products, and ideas through my production business, FrameShot. Either as a solo shooter or with an entire production crew. We’ve produced over 500 films and tens of thousands of photos; I have trained 11 associates, and, during COVID, pivoted the business from linear production to live streaming within just a few weeks.

My most recent business, Headshot Bureau, specialises in corporate headshot photography. I lead a team of amazing headshot specialists travelling from business to business, producing high-end headshots at volume for some of the biggest brands in the country.

2020 Pivot: Funerals

During COVID, I have reinvented my entire operation within just a few weeks. My team and I went from linear production to live-streaming. The demand for high-end funeral live streaming seemed insatiable, so I expanded to a nationwide team of 11 funeral videographers, photographers, and livestream professionals. I trained the team, invested in the infrastructure, and marketed the brand. At peak times, we captured several funerals per day.
Although demand for live streaming quietened down as COVID restrictions were lifted, Funeral Memories still produces many ‘montage’ films.

Where it started: Film Music Composition
Skills: Complex multi-layered storytelling, cross-functional collaboration, owning production budgets, composition and production.
From 2007 to 2016, writing and producing music was my main source of income. I wrote music for features (UK, US, EU), TV, and advertising. I also won international composition awards. I still score 1-2 films per year for TV, streaming and cinema release. For large projects, I lead a team of orchestrators, musicians, and sound engineers.

Early Storytelling: Weddings

From 2012 to 2020, I shot over 250 weddings and enjoyed every single one. It was a wonderful start to the world of photography and videoproduction. I met some amazing people, shared their incredible stories, and hopefully created beautiful photos and videos for them to cherish forever.
Learning AI: App Development
Skills: Software architecture, prompting, rapid development and MVP, market research and marketing
I use AI in many areas of my life. It helps me keep my inbox and calendar organised, as well as my accounts reconciled. I absolutely LOVE AI as a tool – and not more – JUST a tool. It even enables people like me to create complex apps without knowing a single line of code.
