Cocktail Glasses

Cocktail Glasses Product Photography

Catering product photography is always great fun – I love the chance to make food look appetising, or set the scene with lifestyle shots!

This time around I was working with a cocktail glasses gift set. We didn’t just have the glasses to play with – there were other props, including a whole host of cocktail flavours! The team helped me experiment with different colour pallets by preparing a range of cocktails in the glasses.

Changing flash

I varied the flash on each of the shots depending on the props – for example, in one snap I used a strong flash to help the glasses contrast against the pineapple in the foreground. This also worked beautifully against the cranberry juice inside.

We shot a few lifestyle backdrops, as well as on a plain white background for ecommerce websites. These were great products to shoot and it was fun photographing my own cocktail party!
