Easthampstead Park Conference Centre Wedding Photography – Sarah and Jamie

It’s amazing how my commercial work can somehow cross over into wedding photography! I met Jamie and Sarah through Jamie’s employer, Meiko Kitchen. He saw my photography with Meiko online and approached me for his big day at Easthampstead Park.

I met with Jamie and Sarah at the venue before the wedding. It’s a stunning Victorian mansion not too far from me in Wokingham, so I took this opportunity to have a look around too.

Wedding ceremony at Easthampstead Park

I started my day early with Sarah and her bridal party. Her room was covered with mirrors, so it was fun to play with some effects! I zoomed in on some of the ‘props’ including the quintessential wedding dress shot, plus the rings and shoes. I also had another walk round the venue for more stills before the party got going.

Over in Jamie’s room one floor above, we experimented with a few portraits by the window. He was very nervous! Sarah’s dad proudly walked her down the stairs, ready for the ceremony.

It was a small, but bright and touching ceremony. The couple were holding each other the whole time! The nerves soon abated after the vows when we went out for group shots.

I took the confetti shot from below. Sarah and Jamie were in a silly mood by this point, so the group shots were hilarious! We took a few more portrait shots in front of the venue. I love the focus on their rings!

It was cheers all around during the speeches. With everybody suitably fed, we went outside again with a young relative, who was happy to pose! As the sun set, we went back in for the cake-cutting and I worked with the darker lighting to capture their first dance.

At the end of the evening, I asked Sarah and Jamie for one final shoot outside. The gorgeous purples and blues were an ideal backdrop.

I had a wonderful time photographing Sarah and Jamie’s wedding at Easthampstead Park. If you’re looking for wedding photography in Wokingham, please get in touch.
