Wedding Photography at Tudor Park Marriott Hotel & Country Club – Leah and Chris

Leah and Chris had booked me for a package with videography and wedding photography at Tudor Park Marriott Hotel & Country Club. Thankfully, the sun shone on this beautiful wedding venue, so their outdoor wedding went without a hitch.

I started my day early at the Tudor Park Golf Club. I was working alongside my videographer to capture the essential “preparation” moments. Wedding nerves clearly weren’t a problem for Chris – he even had time to slip into his golf wear and pop out for a few holes!

After our “lad time”, it was time for something a little more conventional over in the girls’ camp. Leah had not scrimped on any details. Even the coat hangers had the bridesmaids’ names on, so I made sure I got close-ups of these.

Outdoor ceremony at Tudor Park Marriott Hotel

Prior to the ceremony, Chris couldn’t resist having a few shirtless shots to show off all his tattoos. He was treated to a wedding gift, too – a watch from his bride to be.

I took a few shots of the furniture arrangements outside before the ceremony. While the guests arrived, I went into reportage mode to capture some nice natural shots of their entrance, but not before snapping the essential image of the first look at Leah’s dress!

We could not have asked for better weather as the two exchanged vows underneath the bandstand. The gorgeous shades of the bridal parties’ outfits really stood out in post-production.

Outdoor group wedding photography

Following the confetti shot, I took the newlyweds’ family to one side for some group shots. We explored the grounds, making use of all the foliage around us. The little ones were naturals!

Back indoors, I set up for the speeches. You can tell from the pictures that guests were cracking up left, right and centre. The bride was particularly giggly! After the wedding breakfast, I knew it was time to “kidnap” the bride and groom for a sunset photo shoot.

Sunset photographs

Leah and Chris were willing to experiment with their portrait shots – even running away from the camera at one point! We got some lovely silhouettes around the golf club grounds, with a few more serious shots too.

Back indoors, it was party time – including the classic bride and groom shoe game! There were wonderful opportunities for effect shots, especially with the smoke-covered floor. My personal favourite, however, was the mirror shot. The newlyweds were positioned perfectly, and it was like something out of a Bond film!
