Finding your Surrey Wedding Photographer
I have been a Surrey wedding photographer since 2013. I photograph weddings in and around Surrey in a relaxed, natural, and fun way. I love photographing real moments by real people with real emotions. I shoot unobtrusively – I’m a silent hunter; always looking for the next part of your wedding story. I’m glad to be based in Guildford, as Surrey has some of the most stunning wedding venues in England.
I offer completely bespoke packages (full-day, half-day, or just a few hours.) I also off wedding videography as an add-on.

Reportage Wedding Photography in the heart of Surrey
To me, wedding photography is equally an art and a creative service. I love documenting weddings and telling stories that truly mean something to my couples – this style is called Reportage Wedding Photography. I know I’m incredibly fortunate to witness so many happy occasions. My secret is to blend in and shoot the action from close by without ever disturbing or interfering. I aim to capture the humanity of the day beautifully. It’s about bringing many artistic elements together: beautiful light, meaningful composition, a sense of movement and direction, and all at just the right moment.

Combining Wedding Photography and Videography
I’m one of the few Surrey Wedding Photographers who also offer wedding videography. I offer heartfelt wedding video productions either as a package with photography or booked individually. I’m more than happy to explain in detail how I shoot both photography and video at the same time.
Combining wedding videography and wedding photography
I offer several different wedding videography solutions, tailored to the requirements and budgets of my couples. Most of my wedding videography projects involve a second shooter. Being two shooters at a wedding we can cover both photography and videography at the same time. During the ceremony and speeches, we film with three cameras to guarantee continuous coverage. However, for smaller budgets, I also offer a wedding video add-on to your wedding photography. If couples book this package I constantly switch between photography and videography while having two additional stationary video cameras capture the ceremony and speeches continuously.
Your wedding story told by a wedding “videotographer”
Wedding films offer a unique opportunity to tell the story of your biggest day in a personal, emotional and engaging way. As a wedding photographer I know which angles look good through a lens and as a wedding videographer, I can use this knowledge to create engaging, moving images. I love incorporating little quotes and snippets from you, the couple, and your guests to give your wedding video an even more personal touch. Curious? Please have a look here at my latest wedding videos made in Surrey and London.
Beautiful Surrey wedding venues
Surrey offers many stunning wedding venues such as Gate Street Barn or Loseley Park to make your special day truly unforgettable. I’ve shot at most Surrey wedding venues and know the ‘secret spots’. Especially in and around Guildford, Farnham, Dorking and Leatherhead, you can find the most beautiful venues for your big day.
Surrey is very well-connected. It’s just half an hour from London and sits nicely between Heathrow and Gatwick Airport. Your guests can spend a fantastic weekend in Surrey, visiting one or more of the many local tourist attractions
Shooting your perfect Surrey Wedding
As a wedding photographer, I find it fascinating, challenging and highly satisfying to create photos and videos that ‘speak’ to you as they tell the story of your day – honestly and tastefully.
Every wedding is an emotional rollercoaster ride, from the excitement in the morning to the emotional highlights of the vows to the hilarious moments of the speeches and the wild party energy on the dance floor. I like to be close to the action at every wedding without ever drawing attention to myself.
I honestly believe that I have found the perfect job for myself. As a Surrey wedding photographer and videographer, I’m very fortunate to meet so many lovely couples and to witness their wonderful weddings days at truly stunning venues!

When to get in touch
Most couples approach me about six to twelve months before their wedding (occasionally even two years beforehand). Typically, we would meet for coffee or chat via Zoom. I’m curious to hear more about your story, how you’ve met, how you got engaged and of course what kind of wedding you are planning. Then I would like to pitch my ideas to you and talk you through a typical wedding day (if that exists!) from the point of view of a wedding photographer. I would then leave you with a detailed quote so you can take your time and make your decision.
Booking your Surrey wedding photographer
If you decide to go ahead and book I will send you a private link to my online booking system. There you will be able to sign the contract online in your browser, fill in a detailed questionnaire (no rush!) and pay your booking fee (20% due on booking) and final instalment (80% due on your wedding day) online.
Keeping in touch
I would like to keep in touch with you during the months before your wedding. Feel free to keep me updated as your plans become more and more detailed. If you need any inspiration or if you have any wedding planning questions, in general, feel free to get in touch again – I’ve seen quite a lot and will hopefully be able to advise.
A week before your wedding I’d like to meet or skype with you again. We will go through your planning in detail, and double confirm every little bit. The day before your wedding, I will pack my bag, clean my lenses, recharge all batteries and empty all memory cards. I will send you one last text to confirm that I’m ready to go. I personally always appreciate good customer service, and as a wedding photographer and videographer, I aim to provide excellent service to my couples.
Shooting your wedding day
Your big day has finally arrived. I prefer shooting the entire day from early in the morning to very late at night. I am used to working long shifts, and 16h is nothing unusual for me. Shooting a wedding is hard work – I must admit – but it’s even more fun. I need to stay focused for an extended time and anticipate moments throughout the day. I will be close to you, but equally, you won’t see me much. During your ‘official’ photoshoot, I like to be effective and efficient. Let’s make this fun and relaxing without taking too much time out of your festivities.
Kind words by previous couples
Backup and security
I’m a bit OTT when it comes to backing up my data. My cameras shoot onto two memory cards simultaneously, creating the first backup already in the camera. I always copy all images onto two additional hard drives on location – the first time during the meal and when I pack up my gear at the very end. Back at home, I make two more local copies and upload everything into the cloud overnight. Your final photos (and video!) will be uploaded to three separate servers – that should be enough copies to keep your photos safe forever.
Post-Production
You might be surprised to know, but like any wedding photographer, I spend way more time editing my photos than taking them. During an all-day shoot, I typically take about 2-3k shots. After culling them to a selection of about 400-500 photos, I edit every single image. This usually takes about three full days of work. I aim for a balanced mix of colour and black&white photos, but I’m happy to put more emphasis on either one if you wish so. It is easy to change colours photos into black and white versions later.
Delivering your wedding photos
All my wedding photography packages are digital only by default. The final product will be a link to a private page on my website. Here you will be able to see all of your photos (and videos, if you have booked one of my video packages too) in high resolution. Feel free to share this link with your friends and families, as it will look gorgeous on any device. Additionally, I will send you a Google Drive link where you can download all of your photos and videos. I never delete anything, which means I have hundreds of weddings saved online.
Engagement Photography in Surrey and beyond
Many couples also book me for a ‘pre-wedding’ or engagement photography session. This can be at any location you’d like and typically we would spend about 1-2h. You can use these photos for your invitations, table cards, seating plan, order of service etc. Additionally, it’s a great opportunity for us to get to know each other. I can show you a few simple poses and tips and tricks to make your wedding day run even smoother and to make you feel even more comfortable in front of the camera. Find out more about my engagement photography here.
Wedding Photography Reviews
As a Surrey wedding photographer, I know how important a good reputation is. All my clients (including my non-wedding work) are automatically invited to review me on the Google-trusted site reviews.co.uk, a professional service trusted by major brands. I’m incredibly proud of my reviews and my reputation with venues and fellow suppliers and will do my best to keep it as high as possible.
