One of my passions as a photographer is video production. Whatever your video’s purpose, be it a montage of corporate event or a promotional product video, I will work with you to bring your ideas to life.
Online video is replete with benefits for both business owners and customers. For example, did you know that on average we stay on a website for no more than 47 seconds? Research by the Youon Group shows that by comparison, viewers will stay on a site for an average of 5 minutes and 50 seconds if the site in question contains a video, rendering video content 5.33 times more effective than text alone. It’s no wonder, either – on average, one minute of video content can contain up to 1,800,000 words. That’s a lot of content writing.
What’s more, YouTube is now the second biggest search engine on the internet, (behind Google) and statistics show we are far more likely to interact with a site if it has visible video content.
As consumers it’s true that we find video content far more engaging, but it can also prove hugely beneficial to you if you’re running your own business. Did you know that a shopper is 85 per cent more likely to buy a product if it is supported by video content? As a product photographer and video editor, I will listen to your requirements and help you turn your wares into a unique piece of promotional material that can be optimised for search engines.
With YouTube receiving 3 billion views per day, it’s no surprise that mobile video traffic has increased by 5,000 per cent since 2011. Today, almost half of all browsing comes from mobile devices across the globe. While it’s easy to blow your mind with all these statistics, the underlying message is quite clear: online video content is on the rise and we can all benefit from it whether we are business owners or consumers.
