New Corporate Video for Anti Copying in Design (ACID)

About 75% of my time I work as a photographer (mainly portrait photographer, wedding photographer and product photographer) but I do enjoy my roale corporate video producter as well. I have recently finished a new corporate video production for “Anti Copying in Design” (ACID)

ACID is an organisation set up by Dids Macdonald (OBE) to protect and support intellectual property in design.

I got to know Dids via the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers for whom I had worked as corporate video producer earlier this year.

The video mainly consists of Dids talking straight into the camera which we filmed at the ACID HQ in London. When she explains legislation we switch to video animation.

Dids took me to the Spring Fair at the NEC in Birmingham where most of her clients exhibit their latest products. I filmed interviews with managers of Natures Purest, Talking Tables, Jean Means, Burgon and Ball, Caroline Gardener and Deakin and Francis. All of these companies are using ACID’s services to protect their intellectual property. Some of them print the ACID logo on every page of their catalogue.

ACID offeres a unique service to lodge (time stamp) designs in their database as a proof of ownership at a particular moment in time.

Next to this job as corporate video producer ACID asked me to create three explaination videos of how to use their online platform. I screen-grabbed some footage and used it create these three animation videos.

The corporate video and the animation videos are all part of the ACID website now. I hope to work for them again soon as corporate video producer.
