Hertfordshire Wedding Photography

While the majority of my projects take place close to home in Surrey, I’ve also done my fair share of wedding photography in Hertfordshire. Just like Sussex or Surrey, it’s easily commutable from London, but the beauty of Hertfordshire is that it boasts city vibes and close urban connections with the capital, whilst still offering a huge wealth of natural beauty.
Wherever you’re getting married in Hertfordshire, you are guaranteed an excellent day out. I’ve had the pleasure of working many wedding photography shoots in this beautiful county and can recommend plenty of tourist hotspots for those exploring the area whilst they search for venues. As the name suggests, Welwyn Garden City is particularly pleasing on the eye and welcomes visitors for a stroll around its public green areas – be sure to stop by The Parkway Fountain for a Kodak moment! Alternatively, you can take in a little Roman history with a day trip to St Albans, which offers cathedrals, 15th century clock towers and more.
As far as Hertfordshire wedding venues are concerned, I’ve had the privilege of photographing some amazing couples at some of the most luxurious destinations. The Royal Chace Hotel in Enfield, for example, is a fantastic party venue and has stunning grounds which make for beautiful exterior wedding shots, particularly at night time. Shendish Manor, on the other hand, is a hugely decadent venue which is ideal for those who are really pushing the boat out and have an extensive guest list. Set amongst 160 acres of land including a golf course, this Victorian wedding venue has provided me with ample opportunities for incredible photographs and I shall never forget my experiences there.
As a wedding photographer I love to travel to new venues and explore new scenery, but I could not recommend Hertfordshire enough if you’re just starting out with your wedding plans. For more information on my wedding packages in Hertfordshire, get in touch with me today.
