Wedding Photography in Woking
Located in the heart of the county, Woking really does leave brides and grooms spoilt for choice when it comes to searching for Surrey wedding venues. Living in nearby Guildford I relish the opportunity to photograph weddings in Woking – it’s a short journey home to get started on turning your memories into masterpieces.
Those who have not come across Woking previously may not be aware of its claim to fame – the town takes a starring role in H.G. Wells’ War of the Worlds, so if you’re alarmed by a huge alien structure in the town centre, you now know why!
Of course, visits from aliens aren’t the only thing Woking is known for – it’s also got a fantastic selection of wedding venues, including one of my personal favourites, Gorse Hill. At just over 100 years old, this intimate country mansion features stunning gardens that truly lend themselves to bride and groom shots, whilst the venue’s beautiful terrace is ideal for larger family photographs.
Woking is also wonderfully well-connected by both car and public transport, so if you have family or friends travelling from afar, they can take a stress-free cruise down the M3 and stay in one of the town’s many local hotels. For the sportsmen and women among you, Woking also boasts a substantial choice of golf clubs such as Hoebridge, which make for a sophisticated wedding venue with unquestionably beautiful landscape views for wedding photographs.
With my knowledge of the local area, I will happily meet with you in Woking for a coffee and chat to discuss your ideas for your upcoming ceremony. Just drop me a line or get in touch with me on my contact page and I will do the rest. As a central location in Surrey, Woking is even accessible from Gatwick and Heathrow Airport, so expect to see guests from far and wide!
