Wedding Videography at Hilton Hotel Paddington – Sarah and Mohammed

I was the wedding videographer for Sarah and Mohammed’s at the Hilton Hotel Paddington. I had the pleasure of meeting the couple when I filmed Sarah’s brother’s wedding back in 2016. They told me they wanted a similar wedding videography package, but when I told them I offered film and photography, they snapped it up!

Videography at the Hilton Hotel Paddington

Sarah and Mohammed’s wedding celebrations started in the evening at 8pm. I’d been shooting a wedding in the daytime, so I made my way up to Paddington as quickly as possible. My assistant and I arrived at 6pm to set up and photograph the guests arriving.

As Sarah and Mohammed made their way into the room, I could tell it was going to be a wild night! Using two cameras to create a seamless wedding video final edit, we captured them walking in to the sound of traditional Arabic drums. The music was so uplifting that people just couldn’t help getting up on their feet to dance! It was a great atmosphere, but quite a challenge to navigate without disturbing the flow!

One very special wedding guest

We recorded some video messages from the guests. These are a great way of finding out more about the newlyweds, and are a sentimental memory for couples to treasure. My personal favourite was Sarah’s little nephew, who wanted the mic all to himself!

Over on the dance floor, we were treated to something very special. After enjoying their first wedding dance, Sarah and Mohammed were interrupted by none other than a Michael Jackson impersonator! He really commanded the room and everybody was speechless as he pulled out his signature moves – and a very special moment for their wedding video.

Sweet wedding treats at the Hilton Paddington

With so much dancing going on, it was lucky there was plenty of fuel for the guests! We had an incredible choice of sweets and ice cream to choose from, as well as the cake. It was great fun to film Sarah and Mohammed cutting the wedding cake with a large sword – the same sword that had been used in a traditional Arabic sword dance only moments before. We certainly captured a lot of energy in the room – something that makes my work as a wedding videographer a lot easier!

Later on as the festivities began to slow down, I recorded an exit interview with Sarah. She told me how she wanted to travel the world with Mohammed and how they wanted to help people. It was a beautiful ending to a high-energy evening, giving their wedding video that personal touch.

I edited the final footage into two versions – the above shorter version and a longer video with all the speeches. I sent the videos to Sarah and Mohammed with their still photographs. Please contact me today for more information about my wedding videography – perhaps at the Hilton Hotel Paddington!
