There was never a dull moment at Carla and Chi’s wedding! This huge celebratory bash featured traditional Nigerian dancing, costume changes, and 17 hours of filming and photography!
With four assistants on the project, we started our day with some couple interviews. Both Carla and Chi recounted the sweet details of how they “swiped right” on Tinder. Celebrations were underway straight away as the ladies sipped champagne and Chi helped the gents with their ties.

We positioned a few cameras to catch all angles of the bridal party walking in, and the all-important vows. Carla was nearly upstaged by the gorgeous pageboy and flower girl!
After reciting their vows to one another, Carla and Chi made their way out to the wedding car. We followed them all the way through, while the guests got on a bus to Robert Denholm House.

The couple had set up a stunning marquee with equally beautiful decorations. We went around and captured some of the setup, including a tier of cupcakes!
The celebrations started straight away with the dancing – everybody was throwing dollar bills around! After filling up their energy stores at the buffet, the family commenced the speeches. Then it was off for a wander around the venue with some portrait photography of Carla and Chi.
While this was going on, we interviewed the best man for his thoughts on the day. Everybody was back to the dancefloor now, ready for Carla and Chi to enter in traditional Nigerian dress. The party really got started at this point! Everybody was dancing in unison, with more dollar bills being scattered everywhere. We made sure we had a few wide angles of the dancefloor, plus a few close-ups.
After the evening’s festivities came to a close, we interviewed the couple one more time. They could not have been happier with their day, and I’m thrilled with how the photos came out! If you’re looking for wedding videography at Robert Denholm House, please get in touch today.
